Student and professional volunteers play a critical role in the RISE’s success each year. In turn, we provide a rewarding experience and a rare opportunity for them to interact with and learn from Austin’s top entrepreneurs. 2010 Volunteer Opportunities

Marketing Support

Volunteers interested in assisting with RISE's promotional efforts will be responsible for information distribution leading up to the conference in March. The RISE team will provide you with marketing collateral and distribution locations throughout Austin.

Host Assistants

As a RISE host assistant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside session hosts, providing support for audio/visual needs, attendee check-in and information distribution. Each session will run for 90 minutes and will take place during the hours of 8 am - 7:30 pm between March 2 and 5, 2010. If you are interested in volunteering for more than one session, we will do our best to accommodate your requests.

RISE Reception and Keynote Event Operations

Volunteers will be needed on the evening of Monday, March 1, and/or Thursday, March 4, 2010. In this role, you may be asked to assist with a number of responsibilities to ensure a seamless event execution. Event operations will include (but are not limited to) greeting attendees, information distribution, merchandise sales, host sign-in, booth assistance, and food & beverage service.
